2025 EVENT SCHEDULE!!!

All Events at Historic Fort Reno, Inc. are fundraising efforts to help support the operations of our museum, continued restoration, and educational resources.  We look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming events!

Historic Spirit Tour-2025

June 28th

Check-in at the front gate. Tour will begin from Visitor Center at 6:30 P.M. Admission: Adults $20 (12+) Reservations required. Call or text the Visitors Center for reservations (405)262-3987! A light meal will be provided.

At dusk, you will tour the historic district at the former and once abandoned military post by lantern light and hear the history of the landmarks and people who once walked the same grounds over 100 years ago. Stories that will be told will align with some of the mysteries and murders that have occurred here at Fort Reno over its history.  A spooky, fun, and educational evening for the entire family!

250th Birthday of the U.S. Army June 13, 2025 Celebrate the Army’s birthday with the Fort Reno Visitors Center and the U.S. Cavalry Association! A noon flag raising ceremony and refreshments will be served.

Fort Reno Educational Days: Homeschoolers Day September 11, 2025; School Day September 12; Tombstone Tales and Dinner September 13, 2025 $40 adults; $10 Seniors, $10 Children, Dinner at 5:00-6:00, performance 7:00p.m.

U.S. Cavalry Competition: September 24-27, 2025, free to public!

German & Italian Memorial Service-November 16, 2025

A free event that takes place at the Fort Reno POW Cemetery. Join the German American Heritage Society of Tulsa for this special memorial service for the German and Italian Prisoners of War buried at the Fort Reno Post Cemetery POW Annex.

Wreaths Across America Ceremony-December 20, 2025

A free event that takes place at the Fort Reno Post Cemetery. Join the Fort Reno Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution as they participate in the National Wreaths Across America campaign by laying wreaths on military graves in the old post cemetery.  To sponsor a wreath for a Fort Reno soldier please go to https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/ and go to “Sponsor Specific Cemetery” and type Cemetery Code: OKFRPC to select Fort Reno Post Cemetery.
