Historic Spirit tours: ON HOLD DUE TO GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

Buses Welcome! Senior Community, School Activity, or Church Buses welcome! Choose the type of tour your group prefers: Spirit Tour or Historical Spirit Tour. We will board your bus to tell the haunted history of the buildings as we travel through the Fort and out to the Post Cemetery.

Please check in at the Visitor Center by 6:30 P.M. unless otherwise stated (Gate will close at 6:30 P.M. and no access will be allowed after the gate closes).  Historical Spirit Tour will begin at 7:00 P.M.

By lantern light hear how the stories of the restless spirits of the old military post align with some of the unsolved mysteries and murders that have occurred here. You will tour this historic landmark that holds over 150 years of rich history—Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive, Native American history, Oklahoma’s Land Run of 1889 through World War II. Don’t forget to dress for the weather, temperatures drop when the sun goes down. If light rain is expected tour will not be canceled so please bring an umbrella or hooded clothing. Flashlights recommended. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring bottled water.

Tours will only be canceled if the weather is a thunderstorm with lightning or a blizzard. Should this occur the tour group will be notified and rescheduled.
