Maggie Goodman

Died: April 21, 1889   Burial No. 66

Our Maggie Goodman is the daughter of an Indian Scout at Fort Reno who served with White Elk who is also buried here.  Maggie tells the story of life in the Scout Camp and school life with the Mennonite missionaries and teachers at the Darlington Agency.  The description of the ledger art book, the purpose of the pictures and its current location in a museum collection could not be told without this character.  No one knows the actual location or identity of the Indian child listed as the 66th burial.
